Breathecoat

Breathecoat, the solution to Mould and Fungi.

First we need to determine what Is Mould?

Moulds are small organisms that can be found almost everywhere. They can be black, white, orange, green, or purple. Outdoors, moulds play an important role in nature, breaking down dead leaves, plants, and trees. Moulds thrive on moisture and reproduce by means of tiny, lightweight spores that travel through the air. You are exposed to mould every day.

In small amounts, mould spores are usually harmless, but when they land on a damp spot in your home, they can start to grow. When mould is growing on a surface, spores can be released into the air where they can be easily inhaled. If you’re sensitive to mould and inhale a large number of spores, you could experience health problems.

Where Do Moulds Grow?

Your walls, floors, appliances, carpet, or furniture – they can all provide the food mould needs to grow. But the thing all moulds need most is moisture, so you’re most likely to see mould in damp places such as bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, basements, and crawl spaces.

Mould Reactions: Who’s at Risk?

For people sensitive to mould, inhaling or touching mould spores can cause allergic reactions, including sneezingrunny nose, red eyes, and skin rash. People with serious mould allergies may have more severe reactions, including shortness of breath. People who have been diagnosed with asthma are allergic to mould, breathing in spores can also cause asthma attacks.

How to get rid of mould

Fill your spray bottle with a 1:1 solution of vinegar and water and spray the work area generously. Let the solution sit for about five minutes, then scrub with a grout brush or a scrub brush. If you don’t have one of these, a toothbrush can also work. Rinse with warm water.

Once the mould has been removed from the surface and cleaned, you can apply the Breathecoat smooth Anti Fungal paint coating to prevent fungal growth.

Why use Breathecoat Smooth Anti Fungal Paint?

Breathecoat paints and coatings is available in an Anti-Fungal version, where fungal growth is a problem, and it eliminates fungi and further growth thereof. It is also available in an Extra Water Repellent where excessive water is present, such as showers or food and beverage factories where a lot of water is sprayed to clean.
