A formulated, polymer modified cementitious skimming plaster to
repair and smooth damaged plastered walls or badly plastered surfaces. Has
excellent adhesion and good flexibility. Is supplied as a single component
product, consisting of a formulated powder.

Can be applied from a 0.1mm to 2mm thickness.

Purpose:

– To repair badly plastered walls.

– To repair damaged walls.

Properties and Benefits:

– Excellent adhesion to most
substrates.

– Cure relatively fast.

– Yields a smooth finish.

– Can be sanded afterwards.

– Can be painted afterwards.

– Easy to apply

Substrate preparation:

The substrate must be clean, sound, dry and free of oil, grease,
fat or any contaminants that can cause the Breathecoat Patching and
Smoothing Compound
to delaminate. All loose particles, flaking paint and
dust must be removed. Cracks must be repaired using Crack Super Repair Bond –
CSRB (see CSRB specification sheet).

When applied to an exterior cementitious surface on a hot, windy
day, pre-damp the substrate.

Mixing:

Mix with water to a paste like, smooth consistency.

Apply immediately after mixing.

Application:

Apply, using a steel plaster trowel, scraping on a thin layer to
the area where the repair is required and smooth down to an even finish. No
water needs to be sprinkled onto the surface to assist finishing.

Cleaning:

Clean all tools and equipment, using water. Do not rinse
contaminated water down sewerage or storm water draining systems.

Precautions:

Wear rubber gloves, eye protection and dust masks during
preparation, mixing and application.
